Lightning 22: Sightseeing In the Middle of Waiting

After the last exam, just before everyone in Lightning would like to shout "FREEDOM!!". But na'ah, not yet! there is still a test awaits; an IQ test. But lots of Lightning is not interested to do it and straightly went home. You can call them lazy, tired, or ungenerous, but I think they just don't like IQ test. They afraid it will reveal who they really are (ahaha, kidding).

After the test, everybody had a wonderful lunch treat. Since the test was started earlier than promised time, many latecomers (you can't call them latecomers because they were coming right on time)... ermm, many "rightcomers" miss the exam. But look at the bright side, they got free lunch! Who said '"there is no free lunch"? I said, there are always "free lunch" in Lightning, literally (like right now) and sarcastically (like the time when we're finishing math tutorials; free lunch copying).

During the lunch, we were all busy planning the leisure activities for this free time. I don't refer to The Leisure Planmaker to plan for this precious time off because his plan all the time related to futsal. I plan with The Scandal Boy instead, a plan which he calls 'Bachelor Party'. ('Bachelor Party' is more like The Scandal Boy's special event. You know, like Azwan Ali's Cit Cat Party)

The lunch end at 12.00 at noon. Many had gone home. I just right want to have a ride home with my dear roommate, The Play Bojoy, but unfortunately he had decided to lounge around at The Card Pusher's place. So I have to find another transporter, but that is the fun about being me. I have self-proclaim myself with another title- The Passenger (its not my Lightning Conversion, just for fun). I enjoy myself searching for transporter. The Transporter got his name because I've always ride with him some time ago. He is undoubtedly my best transporter ever (he'd never bring up fuel issues until I started first). But I already lost him that time, but The Scandal Boy then offers me to join his ride with an unexpected transporter- The Middle Man, and now the main story is just began.

How come The Middle Man could transport me and The Scandal Boy at the same time with his WLE motorcycle? The answer is, he brings his mom car (I forgot its plat number). The Scandal Boy and The Middle Man have a meeting of some project at 2.00 in the evening. Instead of waiting at the fac, they want to go for a ride around the city. Well, it really sounds fun, so I'm in. Our first trip is to a bookshop at Section 15 where I and The Middle Man buy Kreko mags. After that, all of us have no idea where to go.

Then I've come with some suggestion. I ask The Middle Man if he could bring me to the 'Old Timer Kopi' coffee house to solve its mystery. I remember that The Fallen Genius said he wants to capture the picture of The Old Timer at that coffee house, and found out that the shop had already moved. I said to The Middle Man, I want to go there to see if it is really had moved away. He's on. Then we go to our second destination- Old Timer Kopi.

This picture proved that The Fallen Genius was wrong (or he was a liar). The shop are still standing there, proudly. We stopped there and take some pictorial proof. We enjoyed the moment there, before we go to Al-Hasanah Mosque to take our Zohor prayer. After that, again, all of us don't have any idea where to go.

Then I suggest to The Middle Man, "Let's go to University of Tenaga Nasional."

"But I don't know how to get there!"

"I'll show the way."

"Let's go~"

Both of them doesn't know my true intention. For them, it's just a sightseeing. But for me, it means something even more. Well, what's happen at our third destination? Well... let say we didn't do much together there. The Middle Man and The Scandal Boy are busy discussing something about The Shards under a shady tree, while I'm with my own personal journey inside Uniten Mosque. We waste most of our time there and the next thing we do is The Middle Man sent me back to my college and he with The Scandal Boy proceed to the fac for the meeting.
